shut it about your toes already

I am so tired of hearing teachers say they need pedicures. Oh, they can't possibly wear sandals until they pay $50 to have their toenails painted! What a travesty that would be!

I have been happily wearing sandals since Saturday. I packed away my shoes and hope to forget about them until October. And I will continue to paint my own toenails, thank you very much. I can think of much better ways to spend my hard-earned money.

I'm crazy.

Somehow I came up with this crazy idea to exercise for the next 90 days...in a row. Without missing any days. Yeah.

It's day 12 of 90. That's 13.33%. I spent 5 of those days working out at home [kickboxing, weight training, etc], and 7 of them at the gym [treadmill, bike, elliptical].

I must admit I am pretty proud of myself.

I don't really have a goal, like 'I want to lose xx lbs' or anything like that.

I just want to be...happy...and healthy.

And, I just bought a plane ticket to North/South Carolina for a 4 day weekend in May...so it looks like it's going to be a VERY good spring.

Florida

I find it ironic that I can't get the Modest Mouse song 'Florida' out of my head, when all I can see is snow. I also find it appropriate that my 100th post should deal with snow/weather/home sweet home.
